Nine-year-old Charm lives up to her name, whether she’s climbing on the monkey bars – she really likes to climb – talking about her collection of Monster High dolls or relating stories of visiting her Italian grandparents in the Old World.
Part of Charm’s charm is her intense interest in life. She doesn’t like to do one thing for too long, but says she might play a game for five minutes, watch a movie for 10 minutes, play outside or ride her bike for awhile, then start all over again. Charm can keep herself busy listening to music or dancing to videos.
At home in Prescott with her mom and older brother and sister, Charm also helps care for the family’s two dogs: a young Chihuahua named Coconut, and Rosa, an elderly German Shepherd.
A Big Sister for Charm might like to take her window shopping at the mall, play at the park, or help the active young lady with DIY projects, such as decorating her agenda folder for school, where she will be in fifth grade this fall.
Anyone interested in being a Big to Charm or another child can call 928-778-5135 or if you can’t be a Big, how about supporting a Big? The Arizona State Tax Credit is one way to do so.
