Prescott, AZ – Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters (YBBBS) invites golf enthusiasts and community supporters to participate in our inaugural Golf for Kids’ Week, a weeklong tournament benefiting our 1:1 youth mentoring mission. Golfers can play at three stunning courses, or choose a favorite, while helping to make a lasting and positive difference in the lives of local young people.

The first tournament of the week, The Bob Mariano Golf Classic sponsored by the Mariano Family, will take place at The Club at Prescott Lakes on May 20, 2025. This special event honors Bob Mariano, a dedicated community member who became a Big Brother in 2004, forging a lifelong impact on his Little Brother Kyle. Bob also served as a valued YBBBS board member and Board Vice Chair from 2006 to 2007.

The schedule continues with tournaments at:

  • The Oakcreek Country Club Sedona, May 21
  • The Wickenburg Ranch Golf & Social Club, May 22

The registration fees:

  • $185 per person, per tournament
  • $700 per foursome, per tournament
  • $500 per person for all three tournaments
  • $2,000 per foursome for all three tournaments

Registered golfers are invited to the invitation-only Darla DeVille Luau Tee-Off Reception with Hawaiian-themed food at Prescott Lakes Golf Club on Monday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. Meet fellow golfers, enjoy refreshments and celebrate the start of an incredible week of golf and giving.

A special miniature golf event exclusively for Bigs and Littles will cap off the week on Friday, May 23—a fun-filled experience for mentors and their mentees to connect and enjoy the game together.
