Child of the Week: Ardis

Meet Ardis, a charming 10 year old. Ardis lives with her mother and younger sister. The family moved to the area last year and Ardis has adjusted well to a new school. Her favorite subject is math. She also enjoys art class as she likes to draw. Ardis states she does not get into trouble at school, despite being a social butterfly.
Ardis is described as caring, sympathetic, and has a great sense of humor. She has a wide variety of interests that include art, riding her bike, and swimming. Ardis enjoys basketball, tennis, and soccer. She would like to learn to play the harmonica and drums. Ardis has a sweet nature and easily makes friends. She needs a mature, stable Big Sister who will help with healthy peer interactions and build her self confidence.
