YBBBS staff gathered recently at the Heritage Park Zoo for a team building exercise. Five teams built five bicycles. Each team was captained by a Match Advisor who will pick a child in their caseload to receive the finished bicycle. Amid the laughter, improved work relationships were forged and strengthened. The Walmarts at Hwy. 69, Prescott Valley and Gail Gardner donated the bicycles for our Littles. 30-year bicycle mechanic Chuck Layton volunteered his time to make sure the bikes were put together correctly for the safety of our children. Some of us learned about tools! Others of us learned reading the directions first was key! Best of all, we learned to work together while we tried new things. The staff was brought up to date on plans for growth, policies, and more. The finished bicycles with the Team Captain Match Advisors. Related Stories
